Best Labor Day Car Deals 2025

Labor Day has always been known as one of the best times to shop for a new car, but the last few years, the deals just weren’t hitting the same with high prices and interest rates that made getting a new (or new to you) car feel out of reach.

This year is feeling….different! Manufacturers are racing to clear out 2024 and 2025 models before the 2026s arrive, which means rare incentives, interest-free financing, and lease deals that actually make sense for families.

I teamed up with my friends at CarEdge to round up the best Labor Day deals on SUVs and minivans. Some of these are three-row standouts that I recommend over and over in my consults, and others are solid two-row options that check the boxes for everyday family life.

You’ll see a mix of lease and purchase deals on this list, and while most promotions officially run through September 2nd, many will likely stick around a bit longer into the month.

A big thank you to CarEdge for helping me compile this list!

If you’re in the market, these are the ones worth test-driving soon. Most of these promotions run through September 2, 2025, but many will likely stick around a bit longer into the month.

2025 Labor Day Car Deals

2024 Ford Expedition

Labor Day deal: 0% APR for 36 months + $0 down payment + no payments for 90 days

Believe it or not, Ford still has more than 1,300 2024 Expeditions sitting on lots. If you need a large three-row SUV with serious space, this is one of the rare times you can finance at 0% and stretch your dollars further.

What I Love About The Expedition:

  • More tether and lower anchors than any other full-size SUV!

  • Car-seat friendly tilt to access third-row seats

  • Bench seat is made of independent seats, allowing for better three car seats across combinations

  • Seat headrests in all middle positions for required safety (crazy how so many SUVs don’t have this)

  • Ceiling vents in the second row for kids in car seats

  • Giant center console. I’ve had both lunches and zoom calls comfortably on it!

2025 Mazda CX-90 PHEV

Labor Day deal: Lease for $159/month for 24 months with $6,749 due (before taxes and fees)

Yes, you read that right! Mazda’s three-row SUV is available for well under $200/month. It all comes down to lease incentives. Mazda is offering $10,000 lease cash for both the 3-row CX-90 PHEV, and the spacious 2-row CX-70 PHEV. If you’ve been curious about plug-in hybrids, this is one of the best family lease deals of the Labor Day season.

What I Love About The Mazda CX-90 PHEV:

  • A plug-in hybrid three-row SUV is rare, and the CX-90 gives you 25–27 miles of pure electric range, enough to drive like an EV for short commutes.

  • The interior feels luxurious with contrast leather, wood trim, and a beautifully designed cabin.

  • The infotainment screen looks sharp and is slightly tilted toward the driver,

  • Heads-up display is included, which is something usually found only in luxury brands, and it helps keep your eyes on the road.

  • Second-row comfort is solid with heated seats, USB-Cs, built-in sunshades, and deep storage cubbies.

  • Third-row seats are deep, which makes it easier to install certain forward-facing car seats and boosters compared to shallow third rows in other SUVs.

  • The cargo space is flexible, the seats fold flat with a quick pull, and there is an outlet in the trunk for extra functionality.

2025 Hyundai Palisade

Labor Day deal: 0% APR financing for 60 months

One of Hyundai’s most popular three-row SUV, the Hyundai Palisade, just got an update for 2026, which makes the outgoing 2025 models ripe for a deal. If you’ve had the Palisade on your list, 0% financing is a rare offer for one of Hyundai’s best-selling models.

What I Love About the Palisade:

  • It’s giving luxury! The colors, materials, and design make the cabin feel upscale and beautiful.

  • The digital dash is a standout, and the blind spot cameras make lane changes feel so much safer. Once you’ve tried this feature, it’s hard to go back.

  • Family-friendly tech like Passenger Talk, Quiet Mode, and seat belt reminders make everyday driving easier with kids.

  • The second row offers best-in-class legroom. It feels almost like a limousine with heated and ventilated seats, built-in sunshades, ceiling vents, USB-Cs on the seat backs, and even its own sunroof.

  • The third row is surprisingly comfortable, with ceiling vents, charging, and even heated seats — a rare find in a mass-market SUV.

  • Overall, the Palisade is a solid option for families with two kids, rear-facing car seats, or older kids who need comfort and space. The tech, styling, and family-focused features make it one of my top picks.

2025 Nissan Pathfinder

Labor Day deal: 0% APR financing for 60 months, plus $1,000 bonus cash

Nissan’s three-row adventure SUV, the Pathfinder, usually doesn’t get massive discounts like this. If you’re looking for something rugged enough for weekend trips but still family-friendly, now’s the time to grab one.

What I Love About the Pathfinder (Lizz’s favorite car!):

  • Car seat flexibility is strong. Every seat has a tether anchor, there are five lower anchors across the second row, plus one set in the third row. The exposed anchors make installs much easier.

  • Second row is versatile. Seats slide on tracks to share legroom with the third row, come with built-in sunshades, ceiling vents, two cupholders per door, and a car seat-friendly tilt for easier third-row access.

  • Car seat tilt!! Enough said.

  • Third row comfort impressed me. With the second row adjusted, I had plenty of legroom at six feet tall. The third row reclines, has vents, cup holders, and USBs, making it usable for more than just kids.

  • Interior design is fresh and more elevated than before. The seat belt indicator that shows who’s buckled is a practical family feature.

  • Storage and cubbies are thoughtful. Big cup holders, a little purse or junk holder, a phone ledge, and decent console space. Even my giant 40-ounce water bottle fit in the door.

  • Trunk space is practical. While smaller with the third row up, it fit a compact stroller and has an under-floor storage bin that is perfect for soccer cleats, blankets, or an extra change of clothes.

2025 Chrysler Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid

Labor Day deal: 0% APR for 72 months + up to $7,500 federal tax credit (if eligible)

Families who want a minivan should look here first. Not only does Chrysler have 0% financing, but the Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid still qualifies for the $7,500 federal tax credit — at least until September 30, 2025, when the rules change. If a minivan has been on your wish list act soon because this deal won’t last.

What I Love About the Pacifica:

  • It is the only plug-in hybrid minivan on the market, giving about 32 miles of pure electric range before the gas engine kicks in.

  • The interior is thoughtfully designed with good storage, a wireless charger, cup holders, a pass-through under the console, and extra space for family gear.

  • The FamCam is one of the best family camera systems available, letting you see every child whether forward or rear facing.

  • Rear passengers get great amenities like ceiling vents, built-in sunshades, Fire TV screens that fold down to work better with rear-facing car seats, and plenty of charging options.

  • The trunk space is deep and practical, with easy-to-use third-row seats that fold flat for a huge amount of cargo room.

Don’t Expect Prices to Get Any Cheaper in 2026

If you’ve been waiting for the right time to buy or lease, these Labor Day incentives are some of the best we’ve seen in awhile!.

Looking ahead, it’s unlikely prices will get any cheaper in 2026. Between rising costs, new tariffs, and year-over-year increases already built into next year’s models, we’re likely to see the average new car price climb past $50,000 for the first time.

After Labor Day, the next real window for savings will be the year-end clearance events in December, when automakers make their final push to move remaining 2025 inventory.

Check out CarEdge.com for local listings, and let me know in the comments if you’re planning to test drive any of these. I’d love to hear which ones are on your list! Personally, I know exactly which three-row SUVs I’d be checking out first.
